American Library Association’s Banned Books Week (BBW) celebrates ​Banned Books Week (BBW). It runs from September 27 to October 3, 2015, and celebrates the freedom to read by highlighting the value of free and open access to information.

 

BBW activities take place August-October at Duval and St. Johns county libraries, school, college and university campuses, and additional First Coast venues. Programs include banned book-to-film screenings, art activities, performances, and read-alouds.
