This weekend I will be heading up to Boston for the National Young Leadership Conference, where the theme will be creating a vision and turning that into action. It’s the perfect opportunity to discover some of the best ideas from around the country and how we can incorporate them into our Jacksonville programming. As with our meeting in New Orleans last year, a service project is a key component of the week. We will be donating books and reading with the children of Boston’s public schools, getting to share some of the stories that made reading fun when we were kids. I’ve done my best to keep from being the 1,000th person to bring Dr. Seuss’s “Oh, the Places You’ll Go” and am considering a few titles that play to a child’s imagination. I’d love your suggestions. Please feel send us your comments… I don’t leave until Saturday!
