Dr. Marla Brettschneider is Professor of political philosophy with a joint appointment in Political Science and Women’s Studies at the University of New Hampshire, where she chaired her departments for a decade. Long active in the Jewish community, Brettschneider’s ground breaking work in Jewish diversity politics has included award winning scholarship with numerous, articles, books, and special issues of academic journals on the subject of this talk, including: 2015 The Jewish Phenomenon in Sub-Saharan Africa and the 2019 co-edited Africana Jewish Journeys with contributors from four continents.
