As we consider the events of the past few weeks, many of us - as parents, educators, leaders, Jews, neighbors, community members - have questioned, what do we do? How can we act responsibly? The road to undoing systemic racism will be long and hard and full of ups and downs. As Rabbi Tarfon reminds us in Pirkei Avot 2:21, “It is not your responsibility to finish the work of perfecting the world, but you are not free to desist from it either.”

As a small start, we have created this web page as a reference to a multitude of Jewish and non-Jewish resources on racial justice and equity across a variety of media. Our goal in providing these resources is to help you educate yourself and your community and facilitate the necessary and sometimes uncomfortable conversations surrounding these topics.

Please note that this is a work in progress, and we will continue to update it. Please send any additional resources you would like to see included to Jennifer Rensch at
